Synopsis
Ophelia Sinclair and Tyrell Sinclair are in the final stage of ending their nine-year marriage. They agree that both of them are to blame for the marriage's failure and believe it is simply best that they move on with their lives. Before the judge issues the final decree however, the Sinclairs must participate in post-marital counseling with Drs. Rodgers and Gary. It is a last chance for the couple to see if the marriage is salvageable. It is during this counseling that these two highly educated people realize they never confronted the real issues in their marriage. Will it make a difference? Can they salvage anything from the relationship? What will they do now, now that they understand that "Love Never Was the Issue"?

DR. ZENOVIA RODGERS: Marriage counselor. Early forties. Competent, compassionate, one of the most respected counselors in the industry. Married. Mother of three. Partners with Dr. Thomas Gary.
DR. THOMAS GARY: Marriage counselor. Well known. Straight-forward, no play kind of attitude. Sometimes a loose cannon. Late thirties. Respected in the industry.
SASHA LINK: Ophelia’s attorney. Late twenties. Smart, attractive, sharp. Doesn’t miss detail. Very capable of getting her point across.
ANDREW WELBON: Tyrell’s attorney. Old-school lawyer. Mid fifties. Experienced. Competent. Sharp dresser. Player.
TINA: Receptionist. Attentive. Efficient.
ERIC OWENS: Ophelia’s “special friend”. Graduate student. Math major. Attractive.
